This is one of the O.S. FX series of high-performance engines. This series
of engines are used in sport and aerobatic aircraft. The FXs are designed to
use a muffler or tuned pipe.
All FX engines are covered under the O.S. Max Two Year Warranty.

Schnuerle porting (AKA Schnuerle scavenging) Advanced Bi-Metallic
Liner. This process uses a double layer of plating material, rather
than one thicker layer. This helps the metal to bond to the cylinder,
and is more durable. Also, the plating process is more consistent,
resulting in a more precise fit between piston and sleeve, for better
compression, longer life. Side exhaust with muffler with rotatable
exhaust outlet New carburetor with remote needle mounted on the
backplate of the engine (to keep fingers away from the spinning
propeller). Aluminum backplate.
