up. Features adjustable peak detection sensitivity, and recalls data

sophistication in its programming. Warning messages for improper
input voltage, poor connections, unsuitable battery condition, and
reverse polarity on output. Safety features include cool-off time

overload, and reverse polarity protection. Optional battery
temperature monitoring allows modelers to safely and accurately

COMMENTS: To achieve the Triton's maximum potential, the power
supply must be capable of delivering at least 13 amps of current
while maintaining 12V DC.
Q: When should my fan switch ON? A: The temperature-controlled
fan does not turn ON until needed, which occurs in the following
circumstances: 1. During discharge 2. During charge: a. if the temp
of the charger exceeds 50 degrees C (122 deg. Fahr) b. if the charge
output power is over 30W c. if the charge current is over 2.5A d. if
charging 1 cell, or packs containing 2 or 3 cells 3. During charge
or discharge, if the temp of the charger itself exceeds 100 deg C
the charger will stop all charge or discharge functions until the
temp drops below 70 degrees C. The fan should continue to run until
the temp drops below 45 degrees C. (The manual covers this). |
